EHS Science Bowl Team
Student teams from Shasta, Trinity, Siskiyou, Butte and Lassen counties high schools compete in this intense academic competition. High school students demonstrate their expertise in astronomy, biology, chemistry, math, physics and earth science in the question-and-answer game format tournament. Each competing team consists of four student members with an alternate. Each high school is allowed to send up to three teams to the competition. The first place team receives a five day all expense-paid trip to the National Science Bowl competition in Washington, D.C. during the first week in May.

EHS sends three teams every year. Tryouts are held in October with a scheduled weekly practice until the day of the competition. This year's competition will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011. We are always looking for students who have excellent knowledge in one or more of the areas above.
