Financial Aid/Scholarships

There are three areas of focus that seniors should pay attention to when it comes to Financial Aid/Scholarships. They are the federal financial aid, the state financial aid and the local scholarships. Enterprise will host a Financial Aid Night sponsored by College Options toward the end of the fall semester to help prepare parents starting this process. Additionally, Counselors go to the senior classes to present the EHS and Community Scholarship and give further information to assist them in this journey.

Federal Financial Aid
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) students will complete this application after January 1st of their senior year. Parents will need to use their year-end payroll stubs to estimate their income when filling out their portion of this application.

State Financial Aid
CSAC (California Student Aid Commission) funding is applied for automatically when a student completes the FAFSA and includes a California school as one of the colleges he or she is planning on attending. In addition, the student needs to verify his or her social security number with our Registrar, who automatically sends the senior classes Cal Grant grade point averages (GPA) to CSAC.

Local Scholarships
EHS and Community Scholarship Application is our local scholarship application. The deadline for this application to be turned into the Counseling Office is usually early March. Some examples of scholarships that use this application are Redding East Rotary, Kevin Moss Memorial and the Vern Shufelberger Scholarship.
