Jim Sinyard 1960 |
Jim Sinyard was the first "Superstar" at EHS. He competed
in Football, Basketball, and Track. As a Freshman, he played on the JV Football,
Basketball, and Track team. During his Senior year he finished the season as
the #2 rusher in the North Section. He earned a "Full Ride" scholorship
to Oregan State University where he played for three seasons. Jim returned
to the"Nest" in 1963 to teach and coach before entering the military.
He returned after 2 years to teach and coach for the next 32 years before
retiring in 2003. |

| Dick
Lamoureaux 1963-1971 |
Dick Lamoureaux attended or coached at EHS for about 8 years.
During his sophmore year he participated in the J.V basketball team
of '63. He also participated in Track, Football, and Baseball. He
participated in those sports until his senior year. We are honoring
him for J.V Footbal Champions '70, J.V Baseball Champions
'64. Also Varsity Basketball Champions '64-65, '67-68, '68-69.

Mike Moynahan 1964
|
Mike was an outstanding athlete and coach for the Hornents. While
at EHS, Mike participated in track, gymnastics, and wrestling. He also played
football during his senior year. After earning his teaching degree, he returned
to EHS to coach the Hornets' track team. The EHS community stadium
is named "Moynahan Field" in honor of his coaching efforts. |

Jim Schwerdt 1965-2006 |
Jim Schwerdt began his career as a freshman in 1961. He was an
outstanding athletic in football, basketball, and baseball. During his senior
season, Enterprise won the NAL baseball title and finished with a 12-1 overall record.
Jim was named all NAL player as a shortstop. On the Basketball court was
where Jim enjoyed his most sucess. He return to coaching and teaching in 1971. |

Jim Foss 1966 |
Another tri-sport athlete at Enterprise was Jim Foss. Foss lettered in
football, basketball and baseball while attending EHS. During his junior year,
Jim started for the Hornets football team both on offense and defense. Jim
also started for two season on the EHS varsity basketball team. Jim helped
lead the Hornets to the NAL title as the teams' leading rebounder. |

| Gary Lewis 1968 |
Gary Lewis had outstanding high years as an Enterprise Hornet. As
a freshman, sophomore and junior, Gary competed in basketball and track. As
a senior, he expanded his athletic participation to football. Gary set EHS school records in both the 120-yard high hurdles and
the 180-yard low hurdles. Gary also served as the student bodys' ASB president in
1967-68. Gary later attended University Of Pacific. Upon graduating, Gary returned to Redding and coached cross-country at Shasta College for 21 years. He is now the president of Shasta College in Redding, CA. |

Monte Fitchett 1969-2003 |
Monte came to EHS in 1969 as a Social Science teacher, football and
basketball coach. He later coached the Hornets JV football team to an undeafeated league championship. He stepped down after the 1979-80 season.
However, Monte continued to assist Mike Moynahan with the cross country and track
teams. Later, Monte returned to the basketball court, but this time it was to coach the Hornets Girls Basketball team. |
