In its 20-year history, Enterprise Starship has received top awards in festival
competition at the Reno International Jazz Festival, Fullerton Jazz Festival,
Questa Jazz Festival, RAVES jazz and show choir festival, Heritage Festivals
in San Diego, Anaheim, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Canada. The group is recognized
as one of the most energetic show groups in California.
The excitement generated from Starship’s performances has been enjoyed
throughout several states and countries. Performances at Disneyland, Universal
Studios, Sea World, Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags theme parks have
highlighted numerous California tours. Enterprise Starship enjoys performing
workshops, clinics and concerts for school districts throughout California as
part of its yearly schedule.
Throughout past years Starship has performed in France, Switzerland, Germany,
Austria, Holland, Mexico, and Canada. In the states they have performed in Washington
D.C., Pennsylvania, New York, Hawaii, Catalina, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon.
This Summer Starship will once again return to the East coast where performances
are booked for Washington D.C., New York, and Virginia.
Starship 2006 consist of 30 singers and dancers in costumes created by designer
Pat Hurley, who has been with Starship for 16 years. The Starship band consist
of 14 musicicans who play arrangements exclusively written for the group by
director Dan Neece. Special choreography is written and taught by Danielle Rich,
who has been with the group since its inception.
Enterprise Starship performs for conventions, community events, service clubs,
private parties, school assemblies and festivals. Everywhere, audiences of all
ages have enjoyed their energetic, entertaining and professional shows. Starship
was featured in the “California Educator”, a monthly publication
produced by the California Teacher’s Association.
