FlexTime
What is FlexTime and what does it mean for students?
FlexTime is a dedicated period built into the school day that allows students to connect with
teachers, make up assignments, receive extra help or reteaching, work quietly in a study hall, or
take part in unique enrichment opportunities—all with the goal of supporting student success.
At the high school level, FlexTime provides both academic and social-emotional support,
helping students grow and thrive. It takes place three days a week during 4th period (Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday), with students and teachers working together to select the most
beneficial FlexTime sessions.
FlexTime is designed to strengthen essential skills, boost grades, and provide personalized
attention to keep students on track for their future. It is not only a resource for those needing
extra support but also a valuable opportunity for high-achieving students to access enrichment,
feedback, and advanced learning experiences.
What is Advisory?
Advisory takes place every Monday during 4th period from 11:29–11:59 a.m. This weekly
session gives students the chance to watch video announcements, learn about upcoming
school events, participate in short lessons, and connect with their advisor and grade-level peers.
Students will also use this time to check their academic progress and choose their FlexTime
sessions for the week.
The purpose of Advisory is to create a stronger sense of belonging, build meaningful
relationships, and foster both personal growth and school pride—helping every student feel
connected to the Enterprise community.
